EssaySnark's Strategies for the 2022-'23 MBA Application for MIT Sloan
The MIT application is not going to be your easiest one — but if you do the necessary pre-work and brainstorming, to properly plan out your material, it may end up being your best!
EssaySnark has updated our MIT Sloan MBA application guide for the Class of 2025 because there’s a lot of things to tell you about! Including MIT’s policy allowing applicants to request a waiver of the test requirement, and also a new optional short-answer question asking about how your world has shaped you.
We’ve gathered additional insights through working with another crop of applicants, and we’re offering those for your advantage here. We go over the single letter of recommendation and the two references you need, along with laying out your strategies for producing a top-notch MIT cover letter, the video submission, the org chart, and the “mission” interview-invite essay. You’ll get a whole collection of important brainstorming exercises and strategy tips for constructing your content for this school. The 2022 SnarkStrategies Guide for MIT version 12 helps you make the most of all the opportunities that this school is offering.
Perhaps most instructive: We go into an explanation of the methodology that Sloan Admissions uses in evaluating your candidacy. We talk through trends, and discuss your ideal round strategy. We also explain the MIT LGO dual-degree program (without a formal discussion of their separate essays), and we provide you with reapplicant pointers, too. Basically, this guide presents everything you need to do your best with your MBA application to that other great school in Boston.
I would like you to know that your Strategy Guide for Sloan was one of the things that convinced me to apply there! I’ll definitely do my best to match all the wonderful things you guys say about Sloanies!!! 😀
Thank you for being with me through all this! I’m really excited!!!

Reviews from Brave Supplicants!
Here’s what one successful Brave Supplicant said to us after getting admitted to MIT in 2013:
There are a few Sloanies in Snarkville right?! That Strategy Guide is clearly an inside job! 🙂
Yes indeed, every year we see quite a few Brave Supplicants make it into MIT! The person who left that comment is the Class of 2016.
If you found value in this Strategy Guide, we’d be most appreciative if you’d add a review!
(PS: In response to the complaint lodged from a Brave Supplicant on the 2013 guide, that was a fair comment. We’re using a new viewer now.)

This guide is an excellent resource that will cut away all of the noise around the application process to MIT and get you focused on exactly what you need to put on the page to get admitted!
I know this from personal experience and can't recommend the guide and all of EssaySnark's services enough!
I'm really happy to inform you that I received from MIT Sloan and I accepted it!
Thanks for all the help throughout the entire application process. All guides, comments, reviews and accelerator were truely helpful.
I bought this guide after I was stumped on Sloan's "comfort zone" essay. I'd already drafted a response to the first question and thought I was overthinking this second. I bought this guide to get a second opinion; if it was a waste of money, at least I'd only lose 3 beers. Turns out it was a great bargain. It went very in depth on the first question, and I decided to rewrite my draft. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone seriously considering Sloan, especially if you haven't done much research.
-Great overview of Sloan admission process and application strategy
-Very in-depth on Question 1
Not so good:
-Not a fan of the online viewer
-Organization: a lot of the Question 2 stuff is found in the Question 1 section. Read the whole thing before skipping ahead.
