EssaySnark’s MBA Strategy Guides provide insights to putting together a powerful application based on your target schools’ unique preferences and policies. Strategy guides are available for select schools through online-only access here on essaysnark.com.
“Awesome guides by the way – big ups!”
Be careful about buying used copies on other sites; they are guaranteed to be OUT OF DATE.
All used paperbacks and ebook versions of school-specific guides that you may find for sale on the internet are **OLD VERSIONS** (for 2014 apps and even older).
We’re furiously working to update all the school guides for the 2017 requirements. You can identify the 2017 editions with the “Updated” stamp; the 2016 versions have a yellow highlight marking the year. All school-specific essay guides are only available online here at essaysnark.com. The waitlist and accepted student guides are current in Kindle and other ebook formats so you’re good to go in buying any of those from Amazon and other sites (the interviewing and reapplicant guides are mostly current in those other editions; there was an update to each of them in the past year and those new versions are only available at essaysnark.com, though for both, you’d still be fine using the prior versions if that’s what you ended up with). If you’re buying a school-specific essay guide in paperback from a reseller or private party, there is no chance that it is for the current 2017 admissions season!

Here’s what one BSer sent us after submitting apps in Round 1 2014:
Your strategy guides are awesome; I was a bit skeptical at first because I had another company’s “strategy guides”–and they were literally useless. Just regurgitated information I could find on wikipedia or on the school’s website.
I think what really helped me, and something I would 100% tout to other candidates, is understanding through your strategy guides what each school is looking for. Once I realized that [school] was more concerned with [specific insights gained from guides] than anything else, it made it much easier to pitch my essay.
In retrospect, I was trying to pack too much into my “goals” essays with all my ‘sellability competencies’. All the different countries I’ve traveled to and worked in. My unique background. Etc. What ended up happening was the kitchen soup issue.
Thanks for your help; I may purchase a couple more essay reviews before the app season is over. And I’ll keep you posted.

Another note from a successful BSer – received in March 2015 after this person got in during Round 2 with literally no outside help from us – a true do-it-yourselfer!
“I am very very excited-it still doesn’t feel totally real (after two years of working to make it happen)! Big thanks to you guys-the blog and the strategy guides I used really made a huge difference in the way I approached the process and helped immensely! I appreciate it so much! :)”
