An optional essay about grades should be short, and it should be focused on providing some sort of new information or evidence to the adcom that actually proves you’re a different person today. If you are struggling with what that might be or how to position yourself, you can go for our Transcripts & Grades App Accelerator, which walks through these issues in greater detail (including a way for you to self-evaluate your transcripts to see how bad they really are) – plus a chance to submit your plan for redemption to EssaySnark for review and feedback, to see if it is going to help you (or not).
