There are some hot-to-trot types who get those apps in super-duper early, which often can work out well.

But sometimes it creates a rockier road to acceptance than might otherwise be necessary.

But who’re we kidding, most BSers do not have this issue; most of you will be scrambling at the last minute to get those apps done. However, there is likely a handful of highly motivated (or highly anxious!) MBA app planners out there who would benefit from understanding the tradeoffs to going into this so early!
