($) Are you starting to think maybe Round 3?

February 7, 2022 by EssaySnark Leave a Comment

We said not two weeks ago that if you’ve got Round 2 apps in the hopper, it wasn’t time to be starting the “What if!??” freak-out meltdown.

But what if…. you’re really starting to worry?

Or, maybe you realized only around the New Year that you would like to start an MBA soon, and you then discovered that the application season was already half-over, and you scrambled to take the test and now you are trying to figure out where to apply for Round 3.

These are very different use cases, but we’ll try to help out regardless of where you’re sitting right now.

If you have received one or more invitations to interview — then this post is not for you!

(However, if those interviews were from the few schools like Kellogg that try to interview everyone, then yeah maybe you should put yourself back in your seat and read on. Being interviewed at one of those schools is an important part of the process, definitely, but you cannot read anything into that “interview” as it’s not one that was done by invitation; the interview in that case is more like the essay, where everyone goes through it, rather than the interview being a sign you’ve moved to the next stage of a competitive process.)

Oh wait — there’s one other category of candidate who we need to address today too!

There’s the category of applicant who is energized by how the process has turned so far and is feeling confident!

If you’re looking around and wondering, “Hmm. Should I put in more apps this year?” We have a very inexpensive quick-hit service called Late Season Targets Review that will let you submit your progress so far and we’ll take a look at the basics of your profile and where you’ve had successes (and failures) to date, and let you know our thoughts on the schools you’re considering trying for now.

If you’re in other categories of applicant and are starting to wonder about a possibility for Round 3… That Late Seasons service might be useful for you too, or you can just wait and see what we say when we come back tomorrow to continue this conversation.

There’s no massive rush yet, if you’re going to get Round 3 submitted (unless you’re trying for Columbia in which case you really need to get that application done now!!!).
