We are following the news in India with great sadness. For all of you affected by the resurgence of covid there and elsewhere in the world, our hearts go out to you.
By contrast, the situation in the U.S. appears to be improving rapidly, and colleges and universities are making plans to re-open in the Fall. There will likely still be restrictions and it won’t be the same levels of freedom as we had in the Before Times, but it’ll be a primarily on-campus experience instead of remote instruction. At least, that’s what it looks like right now, on April 30, 2021. We seem to have cleared the worst of it and are moving towards herd immunity and reopenings.
