There’s so much coming at all of us right now

October 1, 2020 by EssaySnark Leave a Comment

Honestly we’re sensing that maybe you could use a break right about now?

You’ve put in some truly great work the past few months. We know, because we’ve seen it!! We’ve been reading essays and looking at resumes and checking out all the strategies you’ve been putting together to try to make it into a good school for next Fall – and you should be proud.

There may still be a few fine touches you’re putting on things (or full-on essays you’re still cranking out) — but we just wanted to recognize that you’re doing amazing work, under really tough conditions. You’re stepping up and getting it done.

We’re super proud of what we’v been seeing.

The world — or at least America — seems to be going off the rails, but this too will pass, as they say.

We just wanted to tell you that you’re working for something worthwhile: Yourself.

Kudos to you for sticking through it, for putting in the time, for making yourself grunt through the hard parts even when you really really really didn’t want to.

This stuff ain’t easy under the best of circumstances, and as you well know, 2020 is far from the best of those circumstances.

Today is just to formally recognize what you’ve already accomplished.

Obviously that app submission is only one of many, many steps in the process, and there’s still more to come.

Maybe we’ll go back to tactics and strategies on essays tomorrow. Or maybe we’ll post a cat video.

All of us could use a break right about now.

If you’re still doing work on apps: Keep plugging away, you’re very close! If you’ve got the last of them in: Take a breather, man (or woman). You deserve it.

We’ll be here with more snark as the days continue on. We’ll get through this together. This year cannot last forever — and our hopes for you are that, at the end of it, you’re going to have a bschool admit in hand.

So who the heck is EssaySnark, anyway?!

We're the snarky experts in MBA admissions!

Sometimes amused and often appalled by what candidates write in their MBA applications to top bschools, EssaySnark created this little blahg to share common mistakes. Learn from them and avoid making admissions directors laugh (or want to hurl) when they read your essays. If you are hoping to have your essay reviewed anonymously on the blahg for free, submit it for consideration.
