That is, EssaySnark’s redemption! From us overpromising all the easiness on the quizziness* and not delivering!!!
Did you know that there’s a name for that? It’s called “the curse of knowledge” and it’s a cognitive bias where you forget what it’s like to not know something when you’re talking to people who are less familiar with the subject. Yup, that’s us on this bschool stuff – guilty! (And that’s often the Achilles’ heel of BSers writing bschool essays – but that’s a post for a different day.) The “curse of knowledge” is apparently why we’ve had a hard time writing quiz questions that were actually solvable.
At least we made things challenging! 😉
To apologize for the error of our poor-quiz-design ways, we’re offering today’s challenge which is supposed to be decidedly NOT challenging. After all, these are supposed to be for fun – and if everyone is bombing out on them then there’s likely not been much fun to go around!
Before we get to that part, a review of where our leaderboard stands as of Monday afternoon – this is unchanged from our prior report:
High Scorer: 8 Points out of 12!!!
Glass5 increases their lead!
Putting On the Heat: 7 Points
Impressive Showing by a New Entrant: 6 points
Bringing Up the Rear of the Front-Runners: 5 Points
And now… Here’s your chance!
*Not to be confused with “queasiness” which we hope we’ve not inflicted on anyone, either!
