This post discusses strategies for canceled GMAT scores based on how this option was introduced by GMAC in 2014. In July 2015, the GMAC has again changed the feature and now, canceled scores do not show up on records sent to schools. The information in this post is therefore OLD and may not apply going forward.

I have a question:
If I registered for a test, and then 2 weeks before the test date I cancel the test, how does it appear in schools’ reports?
Is it clearely different – the schools see that I didn’t take that test vs. I cencelled after the test because I wasn’t satisfied with the score?
If I took the test before (like a a few years back) and I already sent score reports to schools back then, whill this show up?

Pretty sure that a test canceled before the appointment does not show up in the score history at all. You should contact the GMAC people to confirm; one way to do that is here.
