This post mostly deals with the many BSers who’ll be submitting a PowerPoint presentation for this option. Some of this also applies to the Booth presentation, which can be either a written essay or an, uh,…

Glad the post was helpful, coup_stager!
What do you mean by ‘additional questions’? If you tell us what you’re looking for then we might be able to point you to something that’s already up on the blahg.

Quick question, dear Snarks, about this year’s Booth application:
The additional goodie in the Strategy Guides section mentions a certain breakdown of “space to be allocated”. Although it’s outdated, would you say that it is still a solid reference for the latest essay/presentation question?

@altralazer, generally speaking, yes – though it’s really dependent on the individual’s profile and where the good stuff lies! It also depends on the nature of the career goals and whether those need to be explained at all or if they’re fairly standard or self-evident.
For anyone else reading this: The question is about a widget we built out many years ago that shows, by school, how much content in the essays should be allocated to personal or professional topics. It’s available to anyone who purchases one of our school strategy guides. It was developed in a long-ago time when the schools all had lots of essay questions (4 essays per app was standard) and so it’s a legacy widget now but we’ve kept it around since it can be directionally useful in trying to figure out what to talk about, especially for these open-ended essay questions like Booth has.
We also have a consulting service called the Essay Ideas App Accelerator which allows you to submit your outlines and topics for a private review by EssaySnark – some may find that helpful!
