We harp all the time about how important it is to visit campus before applying. We know that sometimes it’s impossible.
The Economist magazine is making it a little easy on you, by offering an online MBA fair on Sept. 5 & 6.
From what we gather, Darden may be the only one of the top bschools to participate — if they’re on your list then it would be good to register for this. (EssaySnark is not getting any type of compensation for promoting this fair, except to feel good that maybe some of you will be able to take advantage of it.)
A whole bunch of other schools will also be participating, in case you’re interested in an off-the-beaten-path program like Hult or Virginia Tech. Or Skolkovo, in Russia. Which has a reputation of teaching a — let’s call it different form of business.
There will be online chats with specific schools at different times. The fun starts at 7am Eastern on Wednesday the 5th – they’re trying to accommodate different timezones around the world. You might want to check it out in case you haven’t been able to step foot on campus at any of your target schools. Bring questions!
