We know you’re devouring blogs and Facebooks and discussion forums and trying to make sense of it all. We give away a lot of info for free just because we want to help you out in that process.
But here’s the thing: Just because we give it all away for free does not mean that we don’t want your business.
In the last admissions season, we heard of a few cases where Brave Supplicants enlisted the help of other admissions consultants.
Fine, no problem, truly we do not expect every single one of our readers to sign up for our services!
The only wrinkle with these BSers is… they signed up with other firms after we had given them freebie essay reviews here. Or done seemingly-endless back-and-forths with them via email. Or held their hand and gave them advice in some other context or another.
OK so you know what? That kinda sucks.
This excellent post from a LA VC summed it up for us nicely. Perhaps not completely parallel, but you get the point. Don’t be that guy.
