How is "motivation to pursue MBA" different from "career goals" essay. HKUST seems to have both these essays… wondering what how to differentiate between them… because as per me motivation for MBA is to achieve my career goals rihgt 😛

@daffy – the HKUST essay 1 & 2 are breaking down what other schools often ask you to cover in a single longer essay. "What are you career goals and why do you want an MBA?" are actually two separate questions! The HKUST admissions team is simply asking for you to take care in answering each element separately. Sometimes people skip over one for the other. With just 200 words each, you will have the just-right amount of space to cover these different components. They are in fact separate questions! It's just that many schools ask the applicant to cover both angles in a single, longer essay.
