New EssaySnark referral program

A couple of you BSers who we had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with last year have been talking up a storm — we keep hearing from new BSers how much you’ve been recommending us.

For that, we’re grateful. Truly! We keep getting acquainted with ever-more amazing BSers and it’s due in large part to your kind words and effusive praise.  Much appreciated, it is.

But ‘appreciated’ doesn’t pay the bills.

We’ve just announced a rather informal referral program, to show ‘appreciated’ in a more tangible fashion.

The way it works is this:

• If you were a paying customer before, and you send a new BSer our direction, and that BSer signs up for one of our big-ticket packages like the Complete Essay Package, we want to acknowledge your generosity with a thank-you gift. This will likely take the form of a gift card but we reserve the right to make it be whatever type of goodies that we can come up with.
• After the BSer who you referred signs up, they’ll be able to submit your name to us so we know to give you the brownie points. Each new BSer can point to just one previous BSer as their referer. The one who referred needs to have paid for services of some kind from us at some point in the past. While we certainly appreciate getting referrals from people we did freebie stuff for, only those who purchased stuff qualify for this recognition program.
• The only wrinkle? Our accountants say that we need to have a social security number for anyone we send goodies to. So that obviously limits things to US citizens and the like. Sorry!!! If we can come up with a workaround on this then we will certainly expand accordingly to include international BSers too. (Only the referring BSer needs to have a SSN; the one who gets referred – the new client – does not.)

If you’re headed to bschool this Fall, and if EssaySnark played a part in helping you get there — and if you now have friends going through the same nightmare journey of applying — then maybe you can get a little spending money in your pocket by convincing them to sign up for some help from us (Lord knows that you’re gonna be broke for awhile, now that you’re going for your MBA!!).

On a related note: The Complete Essay Package will remain open to new subscribers for a few more weeks, but a) we’re filling to capacity fast, and b) we’ll be restricting sign-ups based on application deadline – meaning, you cannot sign up for this  discounted package unless there’s at least 30 days before your app is due, otherwise you won’t have enough time to go through it.
